So, x/(x -5)^2 - (x-4)/2(x- 5)

(1/(x-5)[ x/(x-5) - (x -4)/2 ]

(1/(x-5))[ (2x -(x-4)(x-5)]/2(x -5)

(1/(x -5))[ 2x - (x^2 -9x +20)]/2(x-5)

(1/(x -5))[ -x^2 +11x -20]/2(x-5)
