Solution

A cache is a place to store something temporarily in a computing enviroment to reduce access time .It has small memory and help in application performance but expensive.

Now,in the context of Cloud Computing,cache simply make cloud storage feel local.For eg. Generally, in a given period, we access small percentage of our overall strorage.For such purpose cache is used. But its not easy,

there are many critical issues with using cache for cloud computing.For eg,first of all scalability.We all have a working data set (data on which we mostly work) which grow as number of people start accessing it and thus there can be an issue of thrashing.

Also, we have to maintain balance between read and write.For read purpose, its easy,once dropped it can read from other locations.But during write, it has to decide whether write through (i.e. put the data in the cache but write it to the target device immediately) or write back (write it to the cache and then write it to the target device at some later time) .

Thus,its not easy to have cache for cloud computing. Its useful but has to be very prepare about what kind of cache required.
