Please help Consider the linear equation 2X 3Y C where C

Please help. :)

Consider the linear equation 2X + 3Y = C, where C is a constant:

Plot the straight line underlying the equation for C = 6.

Identify the intercept and the slope of the line in (a).

Show what happens to the position of the line when C gets smaller or larger.

Solution

The line will have a horizontal intercept when Y=0 at (3,0) and also will have a vertical intercept when X=0 at (0,2). The line will be downward sloping with slope -2/3. As C increases the line will get translated rightwards and when C decreases the line will get translated leftwards.
