One of the most frequent used position mechanisms for nonservo robots include Fixed Soft stop Fixed hard stop Programmable stop Pint-to-point stop

  Solution
Fixed stop mechanism. Non servo robots usually operate along the axes of a coordinate system with one or more rotations. Motion is controlled through there use of a limited number of stops and the actual path between the points may be difficult to define. Programming involves setting stop locations at the manipulators and determining sequence and duration of the controller.
