conflict is an issue between two or more parties which may be due to different perceptions.

the fuctional conflict is the conflict that can be a good thing it can be effective for the organisation, it can act as an awareness in the organisation. for example in a car there is accelerator pedal and brake pedal both do the opposite work but both are needed for the proper functioning.

the dysfunctional conflict is the conflict which is very harmful for the organisation which can lead to losses for example unhealthy competitions , disagreements and or disputes.
