A closed vessel contains 40% of liquid water & 60% of water vapour by volume.

Moles is proportional to volume

Quality of mixture = No of moles in vapour / Total moles

Quality of mixture = 6/(6+4) = 0.6

Quality of mixture = 0.6

Note :

Quality factor is an intensive property.

It does not vary for a fixed temperature. If the temperature changes, it can be determined by integration.

Here the given temperature is just to ensure that its above 100 degree vapour quantity is more than liquid form as Boiling Point of water = 100 degree.
