For this weeks discussion lets begin by looking at body lang
For this week\'s discussion let\'s begin by looking at body language and how it supports or convolutes delivery of a message. Have you ever been in conversation with someone and realized that their body language does not match what they are saying to you? How does it feel when this happens? What are the nonverbal signs you might exhibit that communicate you are upset? Or that even may communicate your disinterest or boredom? How often do you watch body language to understand someone you\'re speaking to?
Solution
No, I have never been in conversation with someone and realized that their body language does not match what they are saying. But yes, it feels bad whenever this happens. It feels irritating and doesn\'t feel comfortable talking to that person. Whenever you face such situation you should be firm in your voice and should communicate sternly that you are not interested in talking and the signs that the body language is imparting is not acceptable. If this not helps talk to them directly and convey your thoughts. Whenever I am in the company of strangers or the person with whom I am talking for the first time, I look for the body language of the person, but not that often.
