The reason I\'m posting is because I know the logic is flawed, but the examples my professor gave for inverse and converse errors are nothing like this one.
2. For each of the following arguments, state whether it is valid, an inverse error, or a converse error. If it is valid, state which rule of inference is used. (a) (10 points) Sandra knows Python or she knows Java Sandra knows PythonSolution
The logic is flawed for sure. If it contained the second statement as \" Sandra doesn\'t knows Java\" then it can be a valid argument from inference rule Disjunctive Syllogism.
As of now it is converse error.
\"Sandra knows Python\" = A
\"she knows Java\" = B
\"Sandra knows Python or she knows Java\" = A B
\"Sandra knows Python\" = A
A can not be true if only A B is true. It requires a second arguement.
