Stacy\'s comlexity theory has catagirized taks into four catagories and haa identified the best appoaches to solve the tasks. These four catagories are :

a. Simple : These tasks are very simple to understand and perform. You know what to do and how to do not thinking too much about it.These are the tasks that you perform on a daily basis.

b. complicated : These tasks are not easy to understand. You donot have a clear idea of what to do and how to do. for example setting up a new business is complicated. you have to first make plans and then go about it.

c. Anarchy : These happen without any prediction. you do not know when will it occur, how it will occur and how will you react. Natural calamities fall into this catagory.

d. Complex: These tasks involve high level of uncertainity. Things are very unclear from the begining. Developing a new software can be considered as a complex taks. There are uncertainities associated with the problems that is likely to occur during the development of the software.
