solve by elimination 2x3y1 Xy3Solution2x3y 1 1 xy 3 2 Mult

solve by elimination

2x+3y=1

-X+y=-3

Solution

2x+3y = 1 ---(1)

-x+y = -3 ----(2)

Multiplying 2nd equation by 2 and then adding with 1st equation, we get

2x+3y-2x+2y=1-6

=> 5y=-5

=> y=-1

Substituting the value of y in 2nd equation, we get

-x -1=-3

=> -x=-3+1=-2

=> x=2

Thus the required solution is x=2, y=-1

solve by elimination 2x+3y=1 -X+y=-3Solution2x+3y = 1 ---(1) -x+y = -3 ----(2) Multiplying 2nd equation by 2 and then adding with 1st equation, we get 2x+3y-2x+
