Please help me interpret this IR spectrum.

I also need help with writing out the correct notation. Thank you!

Here’s an example of an IR spectrum notation just Incase:

IR: 3022cm-1 (=C-H stretch), 2855cm-1 (-C-H stretch), 1602cm-1 (-C=C- stretch)

IR spectroscopy uses infrared light and analyses its interaction with molecules.The spectrum obtained can give various informations about the molecules especially various functioal groups present in that.

The regeon from about 1500-500cm^-1 usually contains very complicated series of absorptions.

This is due to all manner of bending vibrations within the molecule.This regeon is called finger-print regeon.

In the above spectra, broad band present at 3399.76 cm^-1 is due to O-H stretch.

Sharp band obtained at around 2900cm^-1 is due to alkyl C-H stretch.

Medium weak band at around 2359 cm^-1 may due to C=C stretch.

Peak at 1035cm^-1 is due inplane C-H bending. Peak at around 735cm^-1 due to out of plane C-H bending. Peak at 729cm^-1 may due to C-H aromatic stretch.

Peak at around 600cm^-1 is due to C-C sis stretching.
