Slving x in equation 1 we get

3x = 2y + 5

x = (2y + 5)/3

Substituting value of x in equation 2

-9(2y + 5) /3 + 6y = 12

-3(2y + 5) + 6y = 12

-15 = 12

Clearly the above system of equation is inconsisten with no solution
