Despite, lack of resources is not at all a factor behind underdevelopment. It is because there are countries which do not possess a good resource but are very successful. An example to this can be South Korea and Japan. These are very small countries but have managed to be the global leaders. Further, it can be said that it is the state of mind of the countrymen of a country which motivates them to innovate and leap forward. It is only the state of mind of the people that they think that they are lacking certain resources. But by mastering the things that they possess, they can trade their resources to fulfil their needs like most of the countries do. Most country export the things that they produce and excel in. The export can be anything from technology to agricultural yield. Thus, if the thought of being scarce of any resource for growing further is kept aside and some ways to innovate and master the ways in some fields can help to develop a country.
