A dismissal is the situatuion in which the employer can fire the employee. A dismissal can happen if there is a better candidate avaialble to them or due to poor economic performance of the company, there are two types of employent in US one is contractual and one is at will employment , in at will employment the dismissal can takes place without any reason even if the employee had done nothing wrong. In the contract job the dismissal can be done only if the employee has breached the terms and condition of the job contract. The employers can dismiss the employee on the basis of discrimination a or if the employee had involved in whistlee blowing . If the employees are engaged in drugs such as taking alcohol at workplace they can be dismissed if they caught is the drug test. The employer can dismissed the employee if he prefers his close relative or friend over the employee.
