This billboard looks like any other: a good-looking man, good-looking woman, and a product. It\'s the tried and tested formula for advertising, we see it everywhere as we are directed how to look, dress, behave and consume in order to fit into society. But there is something different about this image. The slogan “she is a thing” works against the advertisement, highlighting the objectification of women to sell products. This billboard has been doctored by the US-based Billboard Liberation Front who reclaim public space by hacking billboards and exposing the real messages behind advertisements.
