Developers are not telepathic and though they usually have experience in what they are doing, it does not mean that they are going to get the project exactly right without any consumer or user input.

Developers are not telepathic they have certain experience.The experience help them to built a right project but anyway this doesnt mean that the product can be built right by the developers without the effort of the user or consumer.Since consumer plays a main role in a system,the requirements are collected from the user so that we can build the correct system.

The system starts up with the consumer as we collect the requirement and make an analysis .At the same time the system endsup with the user or consumer since after developing phase there is a phase called testing phase which is absolutely done by the user or consumer. The developer can develop the product with their experience but not without the help of the consumer.
