I have a term paper to write on Physics and Chemistry for my SCI 1010 class. We have to relate chemistry & physics to our every day life. I am having a hard time finding a topic that is important to me in chemistry. My son has asthma so I was going to try to write about that but I cannot find any articles that explain how asthma and asthma medications are related to Chemistry. Please help and explain!! Thanks so much! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Instead of asthma, you could go for Air Pollution, an environment related project always works to get good grades. You could write about the different types of air pollutants and harmful gases, present in the air that we breathe.
For example - you could state that Carbon Monoxide reacts with the haemoglobin in our blood to form carboxyhaemoglobin, and prevents the delivery of oxygen to the body.
Inhaling Sulphur dioxide can result into acute respiratory problems like ASTHMA.
So, you could write about the gases, and their atmospheric reactions or reactions with humans.
