Surveyor gets the accessibility to much more information which the respondent might not want to disclose.

Non genuine users may also participate. Suppose the survey is meant for adults only, but the surveyor cannot actually judge the age of the respondent.

There might be dummy respondents participating in the survey taking the name of somebody else.

Thus, we can say that online research is now a much popular means of conducting research but the ethical issues and its limitations have to be overcome in order to make it flawless.
