as you have said the amount of water doubles every hour and filling starts on Tuesday at 08:00 AM and completes on Wednesday at 02:00 PM so obviously on Wednesday 01:00 PM pool is half filled so that in next one hour it will be full. Hence pool is exactly half full on Wednesday at 01:OO PM
