I multiply eveything out but then it gets crazy. I figure out everything execpt for this part. Please help

2x –x²( -8) = x(x+) +(x+7) or, 2x – x² +8x² = x² +x +x +7 or, x² + 2x +7 -2x+ x² -8x² = 0 or, 2x² -8x² +7 = 0 or, (2-8)x² = -7 or, (8-2)x² = 7 so that x = ± ([(7)/(8-2)]
