Group decision making is about a joint effort of individuals to attain a certain goal or derive a certain solution. There are certain advantages and disadvantages to an organization\'s decision making. The positive aspect of decision making is energy and sharing of information. Former is the ability to utilize many minds to develop a multitude of ideas which would lead to the quality solution while the latter aids the company make an informed decision. The negative aspects of decision making are the idea of groupthink .i.e. when the judgment and effectiveness of group\'s decision making hamper individual ideas by pressurizing the group. Time constraints also lead to groupthink because not reaching a solution would hamper the ability of the group.
