I need to know how to solve this on the ti-84 plus calculator, not by hand but which specific buttons to press/ enter the data into. I.E (MATH) (ALPHA0 (y=)(2nd) ect... Thanks, studying for a test.

y 20. Solve the system of equations -4z +2y z 3-3 22

Solution

x+y+z=0

-4x+2y-z=-3

-5x+y-2z=-3

multiply first by 5 and add it to third

5x+5y+5z-5x+y-2z=-3

6y+3z=-3

2y+z=-1

multiply 1 by 4 and add it to second

4x +4y+4z-4x+2y-z=-3

6y +3z=-3

2y+z=-1

both are same so we have infinite solutions.
