The implementation of an Integrated Waste Management (IWMP) Plan, to optimise waste management by maximising efficiency and minimising the associated Waste Management Strategy. This Action Plan was developed, by DEAT, to prepare for the implementation of this initiative, the integrated waste management planning initiative, by defining targets, activities, tasks, responsibilities, timing, control procedures and the results/outputs expected. Briefly discuss the proposed contents of an IWMP.

Solution

The firstly e Management Plan and after some time the plan criteria for the prevantion of the human health hazard comprised in broader sence and bacame and name as IIntegrated Waste Management Plan and it was further developed and improved by the DEAT(Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism) .Even the name has chaged slightly as it was in first but the main motive has not .The man objective of the waste management plane or Integrated Waste Management plan is processing of the waste and convert waste into energy or any form which is benificial for trade and commerece .The planning of the waste management is associated with only the land polluton not related to the air pollutin and related to the water polluton too upto certain extent .The Waste Management Plane is tocollect the element of the of the waste and reprocess or recycle it and by doing this it save the life of the human from the pullution.

Our question is that what are the improvement DEAT hase done in the Integrated Waste Management Plan (Proposed content Given as follows)

DEAT has provided the document or the guideline which describes the frame work within which the Integreted Waste Management Plan has to be perform.The primary target for these guide line are provncial and local goverment and industry includng mining and power generation because these are reponsible for the drafting of the waste management plan.

1-An Integrated Waste Management Plan must have the knowledge of the population ,type of the waste, and developmental profile of the area and the number of the person who are not receiving the waste collection service.These are the situation analysis of the Integrated Waste Management plan it also include the descripton of the service provided for recycle,re-use ,recovery treatment and also disposal of waste .

2-An Integrated waste Management Plan set out the intention of the provincial department as well as the municipality ,such as the munispality has to perform for the collection of the waste produced by the premises.And this s aslo the resposibility of the municipality that make the aware to the people from health hazard because of waste dispose in open area.The provincial department and municpality provide the implementation of the reprocess, re-use and recycle .

3-Proposed content of the Integrated Waste Management Plan is to set the periority order for the waste management in accordance wth the department of province goverment and municpality .

4-An Integrated Waste Management plan also set out the treatment concept in the goverment province and in also the municipality regardng the waste water.
