Heuristic tasks, on the other hand, involve a large amount of uncertainity and are based on trial and error to an extent to arrive at a solution which might not be known for certain. Heuristic jobs require creativity and innovative thinking. Hence, these are intrinsically motivating and don\'t require monetary rewards or recognition to motivate.
