Dew Point in degrees farenheit can be calculated with DPT925

Dew Point in degrees farenheit can be calculated with DP=T-9/25(100-RH), where DP is dew points, T is dry-bulb temperature, and RH is relative humidity. Which equation can be solved for RH? Is it RH=100-9/25 (T-DP)?

Solution

DP = T - 9/25 (100 - RH )

subtracting T from both sides

DP - T = -9/25 ( 100 - RH )

or

T - DP = 9/25 ( 100 - RH )

multiplying both sides by 25/9

25 / 9 ( T - DP ) = 100 - RH

subtracting 100 from both sides

-100 + 25/9 ( T-DP ) = -RH

or

100 - 25/9 ( T - DP ) = RH

Dew Point in degrees farenheit can be calculated with DP=T-9/25(100-RH), where DP is dew points, T is dry-bulb temperature, and RH is relative humidity. Which e
