The work-energy theorem describes the relationship between work and energy. The equation is net work done by forces acting on a particle causes a change in that particle\'s kinetic energy.
W = F*d
E = (1/2) *m *v2
Energy work principle=
F*d = (1/2)*m*v2
F = Force , d = displacement
m = Mass of the object
v= velocity of the object
Also if velocity is not considered
W = mgh = Potential Energy
i.e. F*d = mgh
