Now that we have all spent some time pondering the digital divide, its impact on individuals, organizations and society, let\'s undertake an exercise in problem solving.

The rules:

I am granting each of you an enormous pot of hypothetical money.

Assume that you wish to close the gap between the Digital Haves and Have Nots.

You may choose to work on any gap you want, e.g., geographical, age, ability.

You must spend it all. (Your percentages must add up to 100.)

Tell us how you would divide the percentages of this enormous pot. Let us know where and on what you would spend the money and provide your rationale for the divisions. Keep in mind theories we have at our disposal, such as, Maslow\'s Hierarchy, adoption curves, etc.

Digital divide that we see in our society is a result of the inequality in access to the digital medium of communication and education and which has resulted in different classes of haves and have nots.
