Solution
Socialism is a philosophy where the government controls all the resources. There are different nations who tried to implement the socialism, but most of them could either not succeed, or were forced to open-up for the growth and employment. For example, the Soviet Union started the socialism and worked well initially, but the government could not invent new ways in socialism and it crumbled into different independent states. Besides, there were numerous cases of human rights violations were reported. On a similar note, China followed the path of the socialism with huge suppression of the human rights, and later on opened up to the globalization.
In all these failed experiments with the socialism, it is Cuba who applied the socialism under the leadership of Fidel Castro. The country faced many sanctions of different nature, faced allegations of human rights violations (some of them may be true), but evolved the themselves using biotechnology, tourism, agriculture and other natural resource development. The country opted for the people friendly policies and motivated them to work towards self-sufficiency and became less dependent upon the international trade in the wake of international sanctions. Today, the country of Cuba is now coming up with the international trade and opened up its tourism to fastened the growth. But, it is still a country with socialism philosophy and values that are based upon equality. Thus, Cuba can be quoted as an example of socialist country with less human rights violations up to a certain extent.
