Explain why appending any number of zeros to the right of a finite decimal does not change its value. For example,0.34 = 0.340 = 0.3400

Solution

or example,0.34 = 0.340 = 0.3400

If we convert it into fraction we will get :

0.34= 34/100

0.340= 340/1000=34/100

0.3400=3400/10000=34/100

While reduce it will get the same fraction .
