Recently I have purchase an iPhone over the Apple online store, Apple has known for his best in class supply chain process which have made them superior than other brand in market. Apple’s supply chain network has been ranked as top supply chain process. Although full process of Apple is secretive and does not reveal to world, here is process of its supply chain process.

Apple does consume and gather it component and material for the iPhone from different countries and different sources like Europe, China, US and many other Asian Countries, it does not consume whole parts from one nation. Later Apple send that parts and components to their assembling facilities which are located in china, in order to save time in this process they send it via Air cargo. Customers who have ordered phone via online store they get the product delivered from China facilities through intermediate warehouse than Fedex or UPS courier service. Rest phones are delivered to warehouse of Apple situated in USA in Elk Grove, California. From there they send the product to retail store, online store orders and other wholesalers, retailers etc,.
