Write the following expression as a sum and/or difference of logarithms. Express powers as factors. ln [e (x + 2)] ln [e (x + 2)] = (Simplify your answer.)

Solution

Given ln (e^(x+2)) [ Base of natural logarithm Ln is \'e\']

We have ln (e^n)= n (ln e)= n(1) = n

Similarly ln (e^(x+2)) = x+2

Answer : x+2
