Freight movement can affect the environment adversely when environment is exploited most.Fuel will be burn for movement of freight and it will release gases like Carbon dioxide(CO2), Carbon Monoxide(CO) and other harmful gases.The more frequent movement of freight the more harmful releases of harmful gases to the environment. In financial space freight movement is related to cost of transport and which medium of transport is being used for the movement of freight.If the transportation cost will be more it will increase the overall cost of the company hence financial sustainability will be challenged.

To ease the congestion in the movement of freight innovative technology and procedures must be developed which may include movement of freight in waterway i.e. in the flow of river where movement is less, proper packaging so that more freight can be loaded in a single trip, meticulous planning of material so that movement of freights can be minimised.It should be done to least affect of the environment and also to save cost which otherwise can\'t.
