Linda is a former big four auditor who chose to stay home with her children once she started a family. She has maintained her CPA license all the while and now performs part-time bookkeeping services for local businesses. What part(s) of the AICPA Code is Linda subject to, if any?

CPA with licence to public practice can provide various financial services inluding but not limited to  accounting, audit and other attest services, tax, bookkeeping, management consulting, financial management, corporate governance, personal financial planning, business valuation, litigation support, educational, and those services for which standards are promulgated by bodies designated by Council.

Thus prima facie Linda is not subject to any AICPA code. Howevee, she will be subject to Self-Review threat if she auduts the small businesses for whom she is doing book keeping.
