Find the degree measure of the following angle given in radi

Find the degree measure of the following angle given in radian measure. 5 pi/12 = Formulas for problems 16-18: Arc length s = r theta 1 mile = 5280 feet Area of sector A = 1/2 r^2 theta Angular velocity omega = theta/t Linear Speed v = r omega

Solution

Degree = (180/pi) * radian

D = 180/pi * 5pi/12

Cancel the pi\'s, we have :

D = 180 * 5/12

180/12 becomes 15..

So, D = 15 * 5

D = 75 degrees ----> ANSWER
