Solution

For the Borda Count Method, each candidate (or alternative) gets 1 point for each last place vote received, 2 points for each next-to-last point vote, etc., all the way up to N points for each first place vote (where N is the number of candidates/alternatives). The candidate with the largest point total wins the election.

for our problem the total number of votes or ballots are = 12+24+3+9+11 = 59

there are 4 alternatives so the 4th place will gove 1 point , 3rd place will fetch 2 points , second place gets 3 points and 1st place gives 4 points.

so according to the Bords count method OPTION A : Theater is selected as it gets the maximum count of 185

H: 4( 12 ) + 3(0 ) + 2(36 ) + 1(1 ) = 48 + 0 + 72 + 11 = 131
L: 4( 24 ) + 3(26 ) + 2(0 ) + 1( 9 ) = 96 + 72 + 0 + 9 = 183
T: 4( 23 ) + 3(24 ) + 2( 9 ) + 1(3 ) = 92 + 72 + 18 + 3 = 185
F: 4( 0 ) + 3(9 ) + 2( 14 ) + 1( 36 ) = 0 + 27 + 28 + 36 = 91
