Solution

1) The ethical issues being highlighted in the case study are as follows:-

Less Positive treatment of foreign workers in the company’s plants and in the supplier’s factory is one the major ethical issue being faced by the workers of the organization. Giving proper and justified treatment to each and every individual associated with the organization is the moral duty of the company.

Another, ethical issue is delaying in taking the action towards the wrong treatment of workers at various links in the organization.

Last, being taking care of the employees first ,CEO is more concerned with the stock prices of the organization, he lacks the thinking that employees or workers are the only one who take care of the clients and customers of the business, if workers are not treatment accordingly it’s the business who suffers ultimately.

2) FOR THE MOTION i.e. delaying the action

a) The reputation of the company stays stable in the minds of other employees, media houses and among industry.

b)Since, the annual general meeting of the company is on the verge, share prices will not show a downfall, and shareholders belief in the organization remains same as earlier.
