I can load the DVD software on my HP envy with Windows 10 bu

I can load the DVD software on my HP envy with Windows 10 but it will not load on my Windows 7 Dell, Can I install it on two devices or just one.

If so why am I getting an error on my older computer

You can install the software on both of the devices but please check out the compatibility of the software with windows 7 and if it is compatible with windows 7 then there must be some driver issue. You can reinstall your media driver to make sure that everything is running smoothly, If even after that problem persists contact dell customer support and complain, they will help.
