One thought from Chapter one that resinated with me was the concept of time management in the workplace. I always wondered how my team of two (my manager and I) would get work done. It is harder than it looks to give responsibility and delegate tasks to others while still completing the timely and sensitive work throughout the day. I also enjoyed reading the \"8 Good Behaviors for Managers\" and I am optimistic that this course will help me improve on my own management and leadership skills.
In the study notes, I found that making meaningful connections will be an important part of the knowledge I take away from this course. Not only do students need to fully understand the text and course material, but apply it to their own lives and experiences. I also found it thoughtful that we need to take in the information with regard to our prior experiences. Being aware of your own views of management can help you better navigate the course materials.

In order to complete a task effectively on time keeping in mind the resources require good management skills and it can be mentioned that management skill is one of the most important qualities require in almost any workplace because without management skills it is difficult to cope with the situations and risk that may occur. As mentioned, each and every individual has to have some amount of managerial skill and qualities in order to sustain and grow in the industry, therefore it is very much important to understand and determine the qualities that the individual possess and that is possible only through self evaluation because others may have a relative attitude towards the individual which will only be confusing. Each and every working team require a manager because there should be a person who will drive the project and also manage the individuals or members, there are new names assigned to the role of managers as there are managers who prefer to be involved in technical work and that is actually a quality that has a lot of value. the job of manager does not mean assigning job to others but also making the project successful along with well being of the team members.
