a) Probability that the product is defective = P(it is produced by A) * P(defective product by A) + P(it is produced by B) * P(defective product by B) + P(it is produced by C) * P(defective product by C)

=> 60/100 * 0.25/100 + 30/100 * 1/100 + 10/100 * 2/100

=> 65/10000

=> 0.0065

b) The supplier B will be the most likely to tbe source since it contributes

30/65 = 46.15% of the defective parts
