Solution

Problem 3.

Sum of the measured angles = 539\'59\'38\", but theoretical sum = (2n-4)*90 = 2*5-4)*90 = 540 degrees,

so closure = 539\'59\'38\" - 540 = -0\'0\'22\" , Total correction = +0\'0\'22\"

Average correction for each angle = 0\'0\'22\"/5 = 0\'0\'4.4\"

Average multiples are correctly shown as, 4.4, 8.8, 13.2,17.6 and 22,

Similarly rounding and the successive differences are also correct.

The only problem is that the correction is positive, but you had subtracted it. So instead of subtracting add the correction values to each angle. For example, Angle A = 139\'56\'13\" + 4\" = 139\'56\'17\"

Angle B = 120\'45\'25\" + 5\" = 120\'45\'30\", Angle C = 141\'08\'55\" +4\" = 141\'08\'59\" , and similarly add others.
