Introduction :

Behavior theories are very important for leaders, because by switching the behaviors leaders can complete the task from their team members. This is leader skill that how they use this behavior at the respective moment.

Meaning :

The study of the measures, or actions, that define a head is known as behavioral leadership.

Primary developed by Robert Blake and Jane Mouton in 1964, this hypothetical approach to understanding heads who create categories of styles, which are allied with the actions the leader may take, or the technique they use to reach their goals.

Explanation:

Behavioral models are dissimilar than situational theories, which are paying attention on the application, and efficiency, of leadership styles to the different operating surroundings found in the workplace. Because behavioral leadership places importance on the actions of the heads, it is improved at recitation transactional leadership than transformational leadership methods.

Behavioral leadership will try to explain why a type of leader subsist. A bureaucratic leader is someone that is authorized, and gives orders, as of the office they hold in a business.

There are two general types of behavior exhibited by leaders:

• Concern for People : This behavior is associated with people thought , perceptions , actions.

• Concern for Production. : This behavior is associated with tasks , activities , work , performance etc.

Behavioral Theories is divided in two parts : Behavior theory of leadership is based on following two theories

Analysis :

This theory of Behavior studies about the type of behavior exists in surrounding environment. When we are working in a team every group member has its own behavior. But somewhere that has to be coordinated otherwise its challenging for manger to complete the task. Every Leader needs to carry behavior according to situation.

In above lines this has been mentioned that Leaders are having bahaviour about people as well as about work. So leaders when they are completing the work from team members they use this dual behavioral skills .

Where there is need of concern of people they use that behavior , where there is need of concern for production they use that behavior. In this way by switching form people to tasks or tasks to people leaders influence the people for work.    

Conclusion :

Behavioral Leadership Theory can be used to influence others.
