The area of a sector of a circle of radius 15.2 cm is 312 sq cm. Find the length in cm of the corresponding arc.

area of sector ,A=r²_/2

length of arc ,L=r

=>=L_/r

area of sector ,A=r²L_/2r

area of sector ,A=rL_/2

=>L=2A_/r

given A= 312 sq cm ,r=15.2 cm

=>L=2*312_/15.2

=>L=780_/19=41.05 cm

length of arc =41.05 cm
