You all are in a deserted island and the only way to escape it is to be rescue by a helicopter. The problem is you have to build a boat to get to the open ocean in order to be rescue. You as a team have to come out with a solution to build the boat. You only have a knife, a pot, and some matches.

Solution

You use the pot to cook something for survival,

1. Use the knife to cut twigs and branches to light fire and smoke. If a rescue boat arrives, take the rescue boat and reach the open ocean to get rescued by a helicopter.

2. You can create a raft and an oar using decent sized branches (cut by knife) and tie it with some creepers or roots. Reach the open ocean and light a fire there using the pot and some twigs and matches, to get attention of any rescue chopper.
