Why is it that, in general, only one chapter in most text books is devoted to qualitative data?

There are generally two kinds of data i.e. qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data refers to the assumption theory and most based on unrealistic approach. Quantitative data refers to numbers and is more realistic than qualitative data.Most of the financial and managerial decisions are taken in company such budget preparation, ratio calculation etc. based on quantitative data. The prime reason for incorporating only one chapter related to qualitative data in text book is in real world, quantitative data is more preferred and useful than qualitative data.
