Find the inverse of hx 2x 3 x 4 and state what values of x

Find the inverse of h(x) = 2x 3 x + 4 and state what value(s) of x that the inverse cannot assume.

Solution

I think the given expression is h(x)=(2x-3)/(x+4)

Let h(x)=y

Switching x and y

x=(2y-3)/(y+4)

xy+4x=2y-3

4x+3=y(2-x)

y=(4x+3)/(2-x)

f-1(x)=(4x+3)/(2-x)

And x cant be equal to 2.
