Put the sets listed below in order from smallest to largest

Put the sets listed below in order from smallest to largest. Put a < sign between sets as they increase in size. If two sets are equal in size, put an = sign between them. For example, a correctly formatted answer might be \"A<B=C=D<E=F<G\".

You do not need to give any justification for your answer.

A= the set of all positive real numbers

B= the set of all integers that are divisible by 8

C= the set of all integers that are divisible by 2

D=the power set of the real numbers

E=the set of all negative integers

F=the set of all real numbers

G=the set of solutions to the equation x^2 -3x + 2 = 9

Solution

For G: x^2 -3x + 2 = 9

x^2 -3x - 7 = 0

Hence there will be only two possible solutions for the quadratic equation

the set of all negative numbers = the set of all psotive real numbers

the set of all real numbers = the set of all positive numbers + the set of all negative number

The power set of all real numbers will contain 2^(number of real numbers)

Hence the correct order will be

G < B < C < A=E < F < D
