Solution

If we have ln(a) = b , then we can write it as a=e^b.
a) Using above formula , we got x=e^1.4

   x = 4.0552

b)
Using above formula ln(x) = 0.0817 can be written as x= e^0.0817

x=1.0851

c) Using above formula. ln(4x) = 2.5 can be written as 4x = e^2.5 => x = e^2.5/4

Which can be written as   x=3.0456

d) ln(x - 0.09) -2.79

x - 0.09 = e^(-2.79)

x = 0.09 + e^(-2.79)

x=0.1514

e)
ln(5x)=-0.5959

5x = e^(-0.5959)

x = e^(-0.5959)/5

x= 0.11021
