Pay equity...Briefly tell where you think the US and NC are today in terms of pay equity and why? Use the protected groups, age, race, gender, religion, national origin, etc. Use a reference!

(I am assuming that NC means North Carolina)

Pay equity is focused on that, equal for the work of equal value, and usually focused on the jobs perform by women and men, and offere similar payments for women also. There are some kind of traditional jobs, which usually perform by women, and they will be paid fairly. Jobs like librarian, childcare worker or secretary is considered as traditional jobs of women, whereas male jobs are mostly or traditionally done by men, such as truck driver, firefighter, or shipping clerk.

But in reality it is not implementing in the same way. There are many firms and people not following these, and pay is fixing than fair value or i can say that they do not following the concept of pay eqity. it is the same in both US and NC. But the objective of Pay eqity is, pay equal to a work, irrespctive of the worker. Do not descriminate the pay based on the performer, it is not fair.
