There are traits that make individuals turn their entrepreneurial ventures profitable but entrepreneurship is not that can be learnt. Accounting and economics knowledge can work for entrepreneurs but MBA studies for entrepreneurs may not be able to turn individuals into entrepreneurs. Research on entrepreneurs also speaks of heredity, entrepreneurial personality, and, entrepreneurial genes James V Koch, and, James L Fisher, researchers at the University in Norfolk, and, the Babson College in Massachusetts shows that personality, behavior, and, outcomes are important. Experience, knowledge, observation, and, environment; but the entrepreneurial behavior is genetically determined.

Entrepreneurs have self-confidence, take risks, tolerate ambiguity, and, deal with uncertainty. They are not necessarily devoted to consensus decision making. There are genetic determinants of these traits. Entrepreneurial education cannot change risk preferences. Research on genetic tendencies for entrepreneurship is gaining credibility. Research is being done on triggers for these genes. Education is for skills. There is a correlation between certain personality traits and entrepreneurship.

For a risk taker, education can enhance chances for success.
