Solution

Reforming the health care has been a very tough task for the presiddents of all time, from Franklin Roosevelt to Barack Obama. There were miserable failures in most of the steps implemented by the respective presidents. Although many hospitals were costructed for the well being of the war survivors and slaves, they did not last long. Even the doctors could not continue their pratice inthe hospitals due to various political and econoimc issues. Franklin Roosevelt with the vigour to do somethig that would aid the health care of his country men, tried implementing many ideas but failed miserably. Later he realised to get ideas from his own people. The Health care reform at that ime didnot cover spouses and dependents, he took an initiative to include them too. He also insisted that the number of insured should be increased and the quality of service should be standardised while keeping the costs under control. Although he died before implementing the ideas he had for the reform, progressive health care reformers supported his ideas even after his defeat.

Frankllin Roosevelts approach to the health care can be described as a welfare reform to the people. He dreamt of having a reform where the citizens of his country and their family are equally benefitted. He also took efforts to recover slaves from the war and giving them adequate treatment for their well being. His approach is purely a humanitarian approach.
